Wild Spring Greens

Sunday, April 13th
11am-1pm

In this start-of-spring class, we will meet at least half a dozen tasty and nutritious wild “weeds” that you can find and enjoy – right now!

We will cover general foraging safety, identification, when and where to find spring greens, and ways to enjoy each plant we meet. Together, we will harvest a variety of spring edibles and make our own wild-foraged pesto to nosh on together.

Participants will leave with their own greens to enjoy at home, pesto recipe, and a pdf of the plants we meet in our time together.

This class is offered at a sliding scale, with a suggested payment of $35-$75/ person.

Foraging Spring Tonics

Saturday, April 19th
11am-1pm

Every year, as we come out of slower winter mode, the earth offers up a bounty of greens and roots that are just right for waking our bodies up and getting things moving.

Come learn some of the plants of spring that support our bodies’ transition into the longer days, by stimulating our organs of elimination.

We will meet the plants in the wild, make tea, talk tinctures, and participants will leave with freshly-gathered herbs for their own teapots.

This class is offered at a sliding scale, with a suggested payment of $35-$75/ person.
